Hey Pops, can’t believe it’s been 9 years since you had to leave us, where has that time gone. I’m sure you’re keeping an eye on us & seeing Zara & Dylan grow up too quickly & that they both have your cheeky side, which I’m sure makes you have that naughty smile you always had from ear to ear. The last year for our part of the family has been the most testing, but we carry on fighting through the pain & sometimes tears. I wish I could give you a big hug Dad, as I’m sure everything would feel so much better. Until we meet again for a beer or 2. Love you Dad from us 4 💙♥️

Hello my angel. Another year has passed & time goes on regardless. The family are all well but we still miss you amongst us. 9 years is such an age, and goes by so quickly but we still talk about you a lot and it keeps your memory with us in everyday life. 9 years eh Dad where'd that go so much has changed but you are always in our thoughts especially at christmas or when we talk about Coventry City. Aria often mentions you shes so funny Dad she has us in stitches. Im sure youre looking down and saying your customary silly bu**er. Lol. Dad 8 years where has that gone? We know that you are looking down on us as we often talk about what you’d say and are saying. it's usually silly bu**ers especially when me, mum and Aria are doing the okay cokey. She is so so funny Dad and she knows who you are and points to your picture and says Grandad Derrick. We all miss you. xxx
