Shirley AnnKENDALLPeacefully on Thursday 31st July 2025, whilst in the care of St Andrew’s Hospice, Grimsby and with her loving family by her side, Shirley aged 87 years sadly passed away.
Dearly loved wife of Bernard.
Much loved mum of Michael, Yvonne, Karen, Nick and Paul. Loving mother in law of Royce, Gillian and Debbie.
Cherished grandmother of the late Mathew, Becky, Jamie, Liam, Danielle, Amy, Samantha Sam and Nell and a special great grandmother.
Shirley was a great friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held at Grimsby crematorium on Friday 22nd August 2025 at 12:45pm.
By request, family flowers only please. Donations in Shirley’s memory may be sent to: St Andrew’s Hospice, Peaks Lane, Grimsby, DN32 9RP.

So sorry to Bernard and family for the loss of Shirley, a very glamorous lady whenever we met. A good neighbour, who remembered me over the years. Rest in peace, lovely lady.

A most generous and loving lady who will be missed by myself and all my family. We’ve had many good times together. She enjoyed coming and having a few drinks with us and going home “relaxed” with some help from Bernard! She will always be remembered when we get together at our “do’s” and never forgotten.
