In Memoriam for Donald Clive (Don) KENDRICK

Today, St Patrick's Day, remembering the birthday of Don's Mother, Vi ( in Coventry)/Pat in Hull): a lovely lady & a good plain cook. In her heyday, which lasted a good long time, she could talk the hind leg off a donkey: adored by all the family.
When she broke her hip & needed one level living , she protested when Don arranged for her to live with him in Hull, saying " don't do it, I'll ruin your life". the solution was for her to live downstairs, & Don had the upstairs: it worked so well: she was rejuvenated by all the friends & students visiting, & much fun was had.
