Rest in peace tony, I was friends with tony for a few years off and on in the late seventies early eighties, I went back to London and eventually Newyork and I haven’t heard from him since, we had some great nights out and about, and I loved his family, I was shocked to get the news for someone so young, my commiserations to his family. I met Tony at St. Edna’s in Limerick we hit it off immediately due to our somewhat eccentric sense of humor.
I got to know some of his very large family mostly Cathy and his mum, who by the way was a firecracker 😀
We remained good friends after school and he joined me for a spell in New Orleans, we had a lot of fun times there but we’ll leave that one for another day.
After New Orleans I got a job in NYC and Tony & I explored the big city once again much fun was had.
There is way too many memories for me so i’m going to leave it there.
Whenever we were together we laughed quite a bit, and at the end of the day isn’t that what it’s all about.

I will miss you my friend.

Dave Baggott.
