Margaret AliceKERRof Dean Road, Helmshore, died on Thursday, November 21, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 86. She was a textile operative and a club stewardess. In her spare time she enjoyed quizzes and reading. She was always interested in family and friends and was a member of St Thomas Church, Helmshore. Wife of the late John James Kerr, she was mother of Kevin and Susan and mother-in-law to Anthony and leaves eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild. The funeral took place on Wednesday, December 4, beginning at Hamers in Rawtenstall at 11.45am, then a service at St Thomas in Helmshore at 12noon followed by interment at Haslingden Cemetery.
