PhilKERSHAWThe family of Phil Kershaw are saddened to share the news of Phil’s passing on November 27, aged 64.
Son of Sally and the late Harry Kershaw, and brother to Christine and the late Clifford. Phil leaves behind daughters Lauren and Hayley, son-in-law Stephen, and grandchildren Holly and Luke. He was married to Sheila Kershaw until recently, and they have remained good friends. Phil lived in Bacup for most of his life and moved to Burnley 14 years ago to live with the late Alan Cunliffe.
Phil worked at Bacup Shoe and Courtesy Shoes, before beginning a career as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities.
Phil will be missed by all who knew him.
His funeral took place at 10.45am on Tuesday, December 12 at Burnley Crematorium, followed by a celebration of his life at Haslingden Cricket Club.
