My darling Kev,
You were my anchor and my flame,
The one who knew me just by my name
Through every storm and quiet night,
Your love was always strong and right.
Though now your arms can’t hold me near,
Your presence stays in all that’s dear:
In morning light and evening air,
I’ll find that love that you placed there.

Time may bring comfort, soft and slow
And peace finds ways to make it gently grow
Though parted now, our hearts remain
Forever bound beyond the pain.

My darling husband, you may have died, but your smile and love remain embedded in my soul for all eternity.

My darling Kev, it is 14 years since God called you home. Not a day goes by without thinking of you, smiling at the fun and happiness we shared and cherishing the love we shared each and every day.

As I recall the day God took you home to heaven,
My eyes are filled with tears again as I stand here at your grave where you lie.
I think of you daily and still miss you each and every day.
My body is full of sadness
When I recall that you are no longer here.
My pain is only soothed by the memories I hold so dear.
My tired heart is broken and doesn't beat the same; and it breaks a little more every time I hear your name.
My dreams are of the future when I no longer feel this pain.
I'll follow you up to Heaven when God calls me home and we will meet again.
