De CastroKIMIKAWA23 September 1964 – 15 June 2014 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our sister and friend, Kimi, on Sunday. We would like to invite all who knew her to come celebrate her life with us at the Bush Theatre Cafe, 7 Uxbridge Road, London W12 8LJ on Monday 23 June 2014, from 9:30am to 12pm. We will share stories about her and invite you to do the same, if you wish. Kimi was a rare and special soul who loved life and hated injustice. She fought for people and issues she believed in, like the local shopkeepers in her community, and global women’s causes. Help us tackle this last great injustice of her being taken from us so soon. Please RSVP (so we can get an idea of numbers) to kimikawa@mischamills.com

I was just wondering what Kimi was up to so did a google search and was distressed to see that she has passed away some time ago. We were friends at Leeds Uni together and remember her well although we did not maintain contact. Wishing belated condolences to all of her family

A friend in the 1990's, so sad to have just read of Kimi's passing - but so joyed at what she achieved and the good she did in life. Kind, caring, loved her sister dearly, forgiving - even of a traumatic event in Jamaica - and lovely inside and out. O for more like Kimi on this planet.xxx
