Kenneth JamesKINGPassed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital, due to COPD complications, aged 79. He was a loving and devoted husband of 57 years to Anne, much loved father to Susan and Alison, a dear father-inlaw to Paul and Alistair and a doting and loving grandfather to Charlotte, Callum, Sarah and Reece. Ken was a retired foreman from Huncoat Power Station and in his early retirement enjoyed spending time in their caravan in Shropshire with friends before his illness took hold. He was a keen bowler and leaves many friends at Rishton Bowling Club. The funeral was due to take place at 10.20am on Thursday, December 19, at Accrington Crematorium. Any donations gratefully received to the Alzheimer's Society c/o funeral director Hyndburn Funeral Services, Accrington.
