AnthonyKINGTony (of Scotter) Passed peacefully after a long illness on 15th December 2020 aged 84. Much loved husband of Betty. Dearly loved father of Sharon and Paul. Loving father in law of David, Kerrie and Samantha. Loved grandad of Matthew, Rhianon, Annabel, Hannah and Hayden. Treasured great grandad of Kian, Mason and Leighton. Due to current restrictions a private funeral service will take place at Scotter Methodist Chapel. Flowers will be received. Tony interviewed me when I went for an apprenticeship at the Ore Mining Branch,
He was the "last man out" when the mines closed, and was involved in winding up the operations that the Ore Mines covered in 1979/80.
A nicer bloke it would be hard to find
