With tears we saw you suffer, As we watched you fade away, Our hearts were almost broken, As you fought so hard to stay.
We knew you had to leave us, But you never went alone, For part of us went with you, The day you left your home.
Norman will be resting in chapel at Craven Funeral Directors, Park Road from Friday 9th February until Monday 12th, when he will be going home to rest privately with his family.
Funeral service to be held on Wednesday 14th February at St. Cleopas Church, Mill St, L8 at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery at 2.30pm.
Family flowers only please, but donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society.
