After a short illness, Mike passed away on Monday 19th August 2024.

He will be missed by his friends from cricket, fishing, golf and horse racing. Mostly he will be missed by his wife Rose, his children Deborah and Paul, his step-children Clare and Graham, and his grandchildren Thomas and Ava.

Service to take place at the North Devon Crematorium, Barnstaple on Thursday 5th September at 11.40 am. All are welcome.

No flowers please but donations welcome for the Injured Jockey's Fund at the service or c/o H. N. Blackmore & Sons Funeral Directors, 116 East Street, South Molton, EX36 3DB (01769) 572338

I knew Mike and his parents quite well. He was always an outgoing man with plenty of enthusiasm, especially when it came to sport. He played cricket for Budleigh Salterton CC and made a name for himself with his fast bowling. He was very good hearted and always happy to help his friends. He will be missed. Nick Carter
