GeoffreyKIRBYFormer Mayor of Lincoln Passed away on Sunday 30th June at St Claire's Care Home. Aged 87 Years. Devoted Husband to the late Valerie. Cherished Dad to Howard & Penny. Loved Grandad of Kristian, Ralph, Tabitha & Xanthe. Adored Great Grandad of Zebulun.

Funeral service will be held on Monday 12th August, 11am at Lincoln Crematorium.

Mr. Geoff Kirby and his wife were part of the congregation here at Lincoln Cathedral. On Sunday's Geoff would warmly tell us how he loved singing and everyone around him would tell him what a great voice he had. When he started loosing his sight he would ask the vergers to print a large copy of the hymns so that he could still sing and make everyone happy.
A real character and gentleman.
May he rest in peace and rise in Glory.
