RobertKIRKPeacefully in the comfort of his family at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on 30th August, 2016, Bob, in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Anne Morrison, much loved dad of Bert, Douglas and Anne. Bob and Anne met at Wigton RAF Base during WW2 and were married just before the end of the war. Bob and Anne spent most of their married life in the Village of Stepps, Lanarkshire where Bob had a local joiner's business. He served with Lanarkshire Fire Brigade where he was the Sub Officer for 20 years. In recognition of his service he was awarded the Queen's Fire Service Medal. Funeral service shall take place on Friday, 9th September at Falkirk Crematorium for 12.15pm. Family flowers only please.
