It was very sad to hear of Tony's death who I met first back in 1983 when I joined the Plymouth Labour Party. I attended lot of meetings with in over the years and I found him a very hardworking and genuine person . I send my condolences to his wife Pam and family

Farewell Tony, colleague, friend and comrade. We first met in Bath in 1975 in the local Labour Party. We've been in many campaigns since. Thank you Tony for your friendship, great humour and unending wisdom. I shall miss you greatly. Your memory is a blessing.
