Jean HeatherKIRKE2nd November 2018 aged 78 years Peacefully at Southport District General Hospital. Born at Bangalore, India on 2nd November 1940. The dearly loved partner of the late Michael Hackett. Daughter of the late Captain Claude Richard and Joan Kirke. Much loved step-daughter of the late Sir Vaughan Berry. Jean will be sadly missed by her brother, Michael and wife, Barbara and her nephew Andrew and niece, Katherine, great nephews and great niece, James, Sophie and Oscar. Jean's working career was dedicated to the nursing profession. She held senior hospital positions in Britain and South Africa with her particular interest being supporting patients with spinal injuries. Funeral Service to be held at St. John Stone R.C Church, Ainsdale on Thursday 15th November at 12:15pm followed by committal at Southport Crematorium.
