Dear John. So sad that you left us suddenly. You will be very much missed by all your friends at Hendon Rifle Club. I am so glad I had the pleasure of knowing you and experiencing your unselfish attitude towards novice shooters as I am compared to yourself.
You will be definitely be missed by me and members of our great club for all your dedicated hard work you carried out and for the sheer pleasure of seeing you arrive at the club.
May you rest in eternal peace my wonderful friend.

I will miss John a lot. He was appointed entertainment manager whilst we were competing at the Scottish championships, a role he excelled at by providing friendly banter. he was a great friend to have and will be missed very much.

John, you had only been shooting for Middlesex for a few years, but I knew you from various shoots for much longer. You were always cheerful with never a bad word to say about anyone or anything. I shall miss you, and not just as a reliable and willing Middlesex team member, but as a friend as well.
