EricKIRKLANDJohn Passed away suddenly at his home in Allestree on 16th January 2015, aged 53 years. Sadly missed by his twin brother Frank, sister-in-law Frances and his nieces and nephews Conor, Orla and Eamon. Funeral Friday 13th February, service 11.20am in the Main Chapel at Markeaton Crematorium. Family flowers only please, if desired donations for 'The Stroke Association' and sent to G. Wathall & Son Ltd. 101- 111 Macklin Street, Derby DE1 1LG (01332) 345268.

I met Eric on RMweb (a model Railway Forum) in 2014 and he helped me immensely with the methods of layout design and "how the real thing was run" when others were unwilling to help. We swapped many layout designs. When I eventually get my layout built I will have a fitting dedication to him. You are sorely missed, my friend.
