James AlbertKIRKUP(Ebchester) Passed away peacefully on March 4th 2023 aged 89. Albert, beloved husband of the late Muriel Kirkup (nee Barron), much loved dad to Ian, Nigel and Robin, and father in law to Kim, Helen and Joanne. A devoted grandad to Hannah, Polly, Amy, Joseph and Alice, a dear brother to Shirley, and a much loved brother in law and uncle. A funeral service will take place on the 29th March at 11.15am at St Ebbas Church in Ebchester, followed by the final committal at Mountsett Crematorium at 12.30pm. Following this, family and friends are welcome to celebrate his life at the Ebchester Community Centre. The family would like to thank all the staff on Ward 2 at Durham University Hospital for the care and kindness. Family flowers only as a collection will take place after the service in support of St Ebbas Church.
