Sonja, 55, passed away peacefully on 19th December 2024, after a courageous two-year battle with aggressive cancer.
Born on 2nd December 1969, Sonja lived a life marked by challenges but defined by resilience, love, and selflessness. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Bradley and Kieren, a loving daughter to her mother, Linda, and a caring companion to her beloved dog, Bella. Sonja was a woman of remarkable strength, known for her ability to deeply care for others despite herself. She approached life with a deep sense of kindness and compassion, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy is one of fierce love, quiet courage, and a gentle spirit that will never be forgotten.
A service to celebrate Sonja’s life will be held at
St. Giles Church on 10th January at 12:15 PM, followed by a burial at Scartho Cemetery at 1:30 PM. Sonja’s family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in paying their respects and celebrating her incredible life. Black tie is not necessary.
Flowers to be white and pink in colour scheme and delivered to Jason Rocks 162 Freeman Street, Grimsby, DN327AT, 01472562818, the day prior to service.
