DavidKNIGHTAt rest on Tuesday 30th December 2025 at Stafford County Hospital. David, aged 84 years of Stone.

Retired Local Authority Chief Officer of Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

Beloved husband of Denise, much loved father of Matthew and brother of Vera, much loved father in law of Lucy and beloved Grandpa of George & William. David was dearly loved, will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all of his family, friends and former work colleagues.

Service at Carmountside Crematorium on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 at 1:00pm. Would all relatives and friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Any kind donations will be forwarded to Alzheimer's Research U.K.

David was a rather special man and a terrific Chief Officer. Decent, honest, shrewd, he was something of a beacon amongst his peers. He was sorely missed on his retirement. Thank you, David. It was an honour and a pleasure to work alongside you. RIP.
