David JohnKNIGHTDied peacefully on 1st October at Teesside Hospice, aged 67, with his wife Joanne by his side. David, of Brotton and formerly of Guisborough.

Beloved husband of Joanne, much-loved dad to Emma and Sarah, and loving grandad to William, Thomas, James, and expectant twins.

A celebration of David's life will be held at Saltburn Conservative Club on Sunday, 11th October from 2:00 pm. All are welcome. Smart casual dress code (any colour).

If desired, donations in memory of David can be made to Teesside Hospice, in gratitude for the exceptional care provided in his final days.

I'm truly sorry to hear of death of David. I was grateful to spend time with him and get to know him all those years ago.

He was a wonderful father and the thing he was most proud of was his girls. Joanne has lost not only a partner but the ying to her Yang, they truly did complete each other.

I'm truly sorry to hear the passing of David. I only know him for a short period of time but he was a wonderful man, genuine and kind. He meant the world to his girls and his wife Joanne, who has lost the ying to her Yang. They truly did complete each other.

David was a wonderful Brother…. Kind, thoughtful, funny, cheeky, cheerful, intelligent, witty, fair minded, hard working, loving, playful, respectful, adventurous, sometimes annoying but always with a smile …..I could go on and on. A much loved Uncle too and a great loss to us all. We are richer for knowing him though and I miss him so much. Xxx
