KRISTIAN DIGBYKristian Digby, the BBC television presenter, aged 32, has died.
He was pronounced dead at his flat in Stratford, London, on Monday 1st March 2010.
Born into a family of property developers, Kristian was the star of To Buy or Not to Buy and also appeared in Living In The Sun, House Swap and Buy It, Sell It, Bank It. He had also hosted That Gay Show for the BBC.
He was more than simply a daytime TV host. He was also a film director.
In 1997, his film Words of Deception won him a Junior BAFTA. Then the following year, another of his projects, Last Train to Demise - which featured actress and model Lucy Perkins - won the Melbourne Film Festival's Best Student Film award.
A spokesman for the BBC said: "Kristian was a much-loved and talented presenter for BBC Daytime.
"He brought a real sense of energy and warmth to all the shows he presented for us and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time."
Mr Digby's agent and friend Jo Wander said: "I am devastated by the loss.
"He was a lovely guy and a very talented presenter and director.
"I will miss him hugely and my thoughts at this time are with his family and his many friends. He will be sorely missed."
Neighbours around his home told how the charismatic star brought the community together.
Steve Fletcher said: "He set up a residents' association and got people together in a way no one had before.
"He planted trees by the street and tidied up. Everyone wanted to be his friend."
