Ex Gloucester City Assistant Chief Town Planning Officer and member of Churchdown Art Group.
Died 10th July 2018, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his son's home after a short illness, aged 90 years.
A beautiful, kind, witty and talented true gentleman, he loved life, his family and his many friends. His life has ended but his legacy shines through in those who have survived him: his wife Jette, his children Nick, Marie, Jay and Ant, and his grandchildren, Sam, Amy, Tim, Nicholas, Robbie, Jack, Ella, Maya and Issy.
A service will be held at St Leonards Parish Church, Upton St Leonards on Tuesday August 7th at 1pm followed by a private cremation. Informal dress was requested by John, as he wants the occasion "to be as happy as possible".
