SheilaLABANMrs Sheila Laban, of Newchurch Road, Stacksteads, died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, on Wednesday, November 25, aged 74. Sheila was a dinner lady at St Joseph’s Primary School, Stacksteads, and a bar lady at the Hare & Hounds, Stacksteads. She enjoyed holidays in Blackpool at The Lyndene Hotel, and liked her Sunday runs in the minibus to the seaside, Cleveleys, Southport, and the Lake District. She enjoyed dancing and bingo, and liked the odd drink. She leaves partner Eddy, sons Stephen and Paul, and grandchildren Lauren, Ellie and Brooke. The funeral was held on Wednesday, December 9, at Holy Trinity Church, Tunstead, led by Rev Derek Allen, followed by burial at Bacup Cemetery. Donations if desired to Cancer Research UK.
