Professor David EdwardLACKLISONIt is with great sadness we announce the loss of Professor David Edward Lacklison who after several years of ill health passed away peacefully in Walton Hospital Chesterfield. His family would like to thank all the staff who looked after him and are very grateful for the kindness and care given in the last few months of his life. Teresa, David and Ruth (Nieces & Nephew) Born in London, David was a resident locally for around 30 years. He was a Professor of Physics at Nottingham University following a career with Phillips Electronics. David had multiple hobbies and interests some of which were Computing, listening to Classical Music, Ballroom Dancing. He also enjoyed DIY and Gardening. Family History & Matters really interested him and he loved the outdoors, going on walks, travelling and spending time with his dogs. David was predeceased by his Wife Jean Lacklison. David's Funeral will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday 15th March at 1.15pm.
