DavidLAINGSuddenly, but peacefully, after a long struggle with Alzheimers, at Forefaulds Care Home, East Kilbride, on Saturday 15th July 2017. David, aged 92 years, formerly of Fife (retired famous footballer with Hearts and Clyde). Dearly loved husband of the late Betty and a much loved dad, grandad and great-grandad, who will be sadly missed. Funeral Service will take place at Markinch Parish Church, KY7 6DU, on Thursday 27th July at 10.30a.m to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, and thereafter to St. Drostans Cemetery, Markinch at 11.30a.m. Family flowers only please, but donations may be given at the church for Alzheimer Scotland, and Marie Curie Cancer Care, if so desired.
