Alice FyvieLAINGSadly, but peacefully on 6th August, Alice passed away at Newton Court Residential Care Home, Mumbles, aged 93. A retired Swansea University Academic specialising in education in the early years of children with special needs, Alice led a full life in retirement. She was an active volunteer at the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, enjoyed the camaraderie of Swansea U3A and kept up regular correspondence with a number of her former students across the world. Regulars on the number 37 bus will remember her fondly. Funeral Thursday 2nd September 2021, 2pm at Swansea Crematorium for those able to make the journey. For those wishing to pay their respects, the cortege will depart at 1.15pm from Harford Court, Sketty where she had lived for over fifty years.
