The obituary notice of Barbara LAMB (Nee Graham)

Thank you to everyone for sharing your memories of my dear mum, Barbara. It is so comforting reading your comments which clearly describe the person she was. She continues to be missed but she created such great memories for us all that I am happy to talk about her and remember the special times we spent together, often laughing until we cried! I will always miss her and my dad, Bill, but like to think of them reunited the love they shared for each other.

I apologise for this late tribute to Barbara. This dear lady and her husband Bill befriended my wife and I in Romania during the late seventies. On my own now, I remember great detail of the days and events we shared over subsequent years in both Tyne and Tees sides. It was exciting to hear about their travels by camper van in Europe and Spain, either to facilitate residence in Europe or merely to enjoy the lovely senses generated therein. My condolences go to Mark, Heather and families, and must emphasise the pleasure, joy and contentment shared in Barbara and Bills company. They both will most assuredly be welcomed into any new world.
