Retired Head Teacher, former Education Officer at Birmingham Cathedral and latterly a Steward at Birmingham Symphony Hall.

On Friday 26th May 2023, Alan passed away peacefully at his home at The Lizard, Cornwall, aged 97 years.

Devoted husband of Avril, and loving step-father of Fiona and Rachel.

Funeral service at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne, TR14 0BL
on Tuesday 13th June at 3:00pm.

Family flowers only, but donations in memory of Alan welcomed for The Lizard Lifeboat, via this tribute page, by way of a retiring collection or sent to the Funeral Director.
