Alan JohnLANEPassed away peacefully on 5th March 2024, aged 91 years.

Beloved Husband to the late Peggy, Brother and Uncle.

He will be very sadly missed by all who knew him.

Alan's service will take place at Bretby Crematorium, Cedar Chapel on Wednesday 3rd April at 11:15am.

Family flowers only please. If desired donations for Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (The Air Ambulance Charity) and St Giles Hospice may be left at the service or sent via his tribute page at www.wathalls.co.uk

I joined Pirelli in 1973 and Alan was an Engineer on my shift, he was an exceptional man who will be sadly missed.

I had the privilege of working with Alan at Pirelli Burton both as a colleague & part of my team. He was one of the most diligent & thoughtful people I have ever met. May I pass on my heartfelt condolences to his Alan's family.

I knew Alan from pirelli maintenance department, he was an extremely competent and likeable man who used to like playing practical jokes, usually involving water, he was one of the best, Chris vesey

Sincere condolences to Alan's family. Alan was a neighbour for 40 years and was thought of with great respect. Such a lovely man. He will be early missed.
