Only by chance that I stumbled across this, for my third cousin Peggy. I remember coming to your shop Ida Gowns on Humberstone Road, as a little girl with my sister, to visit my Nana Joyce who worked for you, for many years. You certainly had a very long and happy life, leaving me with lots of fond memories!
Good night Peg, lots of love Tracy Towers and my mum Christine Towers xx

Peggy: a very dear old friend. Never forgotten even though our life paths diverged and the years have passed. A wonderful lady and a life well and truly lived. It was a true pleasure to have shared part of your eventful journey - what laughs we had! Sleep peacefully, dearest Pegs after your struggle and God bless. I shall never forget you. Your old pal, Caroline.
