MargaretLAPPINPassed away 3rd February 2022 aged 95 years. You can shed tears that she is gone Or you can smile because she has lived You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left Your heart can be empty because you can't see her Or you can be full of the love that you shared You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday You can remember her and only that she is gone Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on. Funeral service to take place at the Rosemary Chapel, Springwood Crematorium on Tuesday 8th March 2022 at 12.30pm followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery. Flowers welcome. Donations if desired in memory of Rita to Parkinson's UK. All enquiries to Pearson Collinson Funeral Directors, Allerton Road, Liverpool, L18 2DD. Tel: 0151 722 1514.

Margaret Lappin, my Aunty Rita never married devoting her early life to the care of her elderly mother widowed at an early age by the passing of my grandfather John Lappin GM. Decorated for his brave efforts during WW2 fire fighting a blazing ammunition ship at the docks in Liverpool. Rita was the rock, the cornerstone that held a family together. She was the one person i could turn to my whole life long who showed me unconditional love my whole life long. Sadly you are no longer here but I will always love you until the day I die.
