Rachel, Laura and Hanna. Have been thinking of you all and will be
doing so especially on Thursday. Brian was such lovely, thoughtful man who truly loved his family and I know you must miss him terribly.
I never knew him as well as I would have liked, basically because I never spent much time in Bideford after mum died. Ironically enough the time I got to know him best was up in Middlesbrough when I went there for one of you girls' christening. He welcomed me into his group of friends and I had some memorable times going to some of the pubs.
He settled right into Bideford and apart from his accent you wouldn't have known he wasn't a local. He enjoyed life, playing golf, the occasional flutter, and a pint down the pub but above all he was a family man. It was a pleasure to have known him. I'm sure you will cherish all the good times you had together.
We're both thinking of you.
All our love
Richard and Gloria.
