Peter JamesLAWRENCEIt is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Peter Lawrence aged 74 years.
Much loved Father, Grandfather, treasured Father-in-Law, Brother and Uncle. Peter was a great friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Often known as Fruitee Pete, Peter was a character who loved to engage all the locals of Chanterlands Avenue from his Greengrocers at the top of Westbourne Avenue. Born as a Londoner he truly became a Northerner and lover of Hull over a 40-year period.
A service to celebrate Peter's life will take place on Monday 20th May 2024 at 3.30pm in Chanterlands Crematorium, Large Chapel, with the Wake taking place at the Avenue Pub, shortly afterwards. We ask you to wear no black and raise a glass for Peter on the day.
