Ian Christopher DouglasLAYCOCKIan Christopher Douglas Laycock, 61, of St.Budeaux, peacefully passed away in the comfort of St.Luke's Hospice surrounded by his family on February 5 2019. Ian is survived by his wife Sandra of almost 43 years, sons Lee and Duncan, daughters Janine and Corrine, his brother Ernest and many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family. Ian was a welder and worked for many years at Devonport dockyard. He was a kind and caring man who could always make people laugh with his wit and sense of humour. A special thank you to the staff at St.Luke's hospice in Turnchapel for their loving care and support during his final days. Thank you also to Nick Baker from Cooperative funeralcare, St.Budeaux for his understanding during this difficult time. Funeral services for Ian will be held at St.Mary's church, Plympton at 12.50pm on Monday 25 February. A gathering to celebrate Ian's life will be held at 3pm at Kitley house, Yealmpton, PL8 2NW. Memorial donations may be made to St.Luke's hospice. Flowers can be sent to the Cooperative funeralcare, 72 Victoria Rd, St.Budeaux.
