It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia on 4th of April 2026 at Ysbyty Gwynedd at the age of 86 years.

Devoted and beloved wife and soulmate of Norman, cherished and loving mother to Iain and his partner Andrea. Dear Sister to the late Charlie.

Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her, especially her friends and neighbours and as the owner of N & S Lea's Newsagents, (next to Pendref Chapel), High Street, Bangor 1980-1994. Sylvia served on Bangor City Council and as a trustee of Talgai Hall, Llandegai.

A celebration of Sylvia's life will be held at Bangor Crematorium on Tuesday 28th April 2026 at 11am.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Sylvia will be gratefully received towards Alzheimer's Society.
