EveLEADBEATERDied on Wednesday 30th March, aged 91. Much loved wife and companion of Allan, Eve arrived in the UK in July 1939 aged 8 with the Kindertransport from Prague. Her parents and brother did not survive the holocaust and Eve became a British Citizen. She was a refugee who made a valuable contribution to British society, firstly as a French teacher in various schools and finally as a Deputy Head at Carlton le Willows School. She was also a long serving volunteer, leading the book team at the Sherwood Oxfam shop. The funeral service will take place on Friday 29th April at 3.15 pm in All Hallows Church, Gedling.
