EdithLEARWOOD(West Denton). Peacefully in hospital on Wednesday 23rd December 2015, aged 88 years, Edith (Edie), formerly Childrens Staff Nurse at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. Loved wife of the late John Thomas Learwood, loved mother of Carol, Susan and Christopher, dear mother-in-law, nana and great nana, sister of the late John and Joan. Would family and friends please meet at the West Road Crematorium on Friday 8th January at 12.00noon. Afterwards all welcome back to the Benwell Hill Cricket Club for refreshments. Please wear an item of purple or lavender clothing. No flowers please, donations on the day.
