RIP Eddie, I remember Eddie from my very first day at work backl in 1981 at Cleveland Deputising Service and I never made his coffee strong enough, He drove me to my wedding in Dr Robsons Rolls Royce, and we used to drive round all the GP's delivering the accounts once a month, He was lovely and always made me laugh. RIP Eddie xxxxx

I loved working alongside Eddie at Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, and I just loved him. He was my grumpy work dad, but there was always a twinkle of humour with his 'act'. Even though I was a proper grown up with kids and everything, he just treated me like a daft kid and would just shake his head at me, but always with a little smile and a twinkle in his eyes. RIP Eddie. Xxx
