Very sad to hear of Norman's passing. I got to know him quite well when I lived in Scholes. He was such a lovely man, always helping others with his odd-jobs, that's how I first met him. He loved chatting with people and telling his little stories. He was an excellent artist and painted many a portrait for locals and also donating his artwork to good causes. It was Norman who got me interested in oil painting, and I'm forever grateful for that. He was a loving and caring dad to his two lovely daughters, and I offer my sincere condolences to them and his extended family at this sad time. May you rest in peace Norman, and thank you.
With great affection, your friend Anne. (Mrs Fenwick)
