Jacqueline Sibyl DaunceyLEERetired Chemist, ex ICI, Jackie passed away peacefully at Wilmslow Manor Nursing Home on 12th March 2023 aged 96. She leaves husband, Michael, and many adoring friends and Godchildren. Her funeral will take place at St Mary's Church, Alderley, on Friday 21st April at 10.30am.

Jackie is so sadly missed and a sweet and true lady , full to the brim with wit and wisdom , highly perceptive, tenacious and always enquiring;

Jackie was the most wonderful wife to Michael.

Great friends with my Mother , Jean Butler who appointed Jackie as my Godmother.

When Chris and I moved into 18 Devonshire Drive on August 20 '84, I was in the front garden looking at the thick beech hedge between our gardens. A voice said "hello I'm Jacqui". I made my introductions and said, "this hedge is too thick to hold hands through" "we could try" said Jacqui, and we did. We shook hands and laughed and that wonderful laid back humour stayed with me and lots of examples over the years. Wonderful neighbours , helping each other over the years. Jackie was a very good friend and wife who is very sadly missed. The house is not the same, it feels quiet without your presence and conversation. You will remain always in my thoughts and heart. Michael.
