EricLEESof Burnley Road East, died at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Monday, November 4, aged 72. He was a driving instructor prior to retiring as a newsagent on Burnley Road East. He enjoyed woodworking which was his passion, along with art. He was a member of an art group at Newchurch Methodist and also volunteered at the Rossendale Hospice and The Whitaker. Husband of the late Christine, Eric will be sadly missed by his family and close friends, together with the people who he met through his volunteering work. A service took place at 12.45pm on Friday, November 15, at Fred Hamer's funeral directors, followed by interment at Bacup Cemetery at 2pm administered by Rev. David Burrows.
