RoyLEESSadly passed away on Easter Monday, aged 96 years. Beloved husband to devoted wife Mary, after 73 years together. Father to daughter Lesley and son in law Steve, loved grandad to Mark and partner Danielle. Funeral service to be held at St Edmund's Church, Shelton Lock on Wednesday 10th May 2023 at 11.00am followed by a family only burial at Aston on Trent Cemetery at 12.00noon. Heartfelt thanks to all staff on Ward 204 at The Royal Derby Hospital. A special thanks to all the nursing and care staff of Amber Lodge Nursing Home for your outstanding kindness, care and consideration during this difficult time. Family flowers only please. Donations are invited for Dementia UK. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or given at the service.
