GrahamLEESEMuch loved father of Maja and husband of Ewa passed away peacefully in Epsom Hospital on 29 October 2024

After many years of travelling the world while following his career, Graham found peace and tranquillity by settling with his family in Epsom.

He will be sorely missed by them and the large circle of friends his pleasant personality and dry humour attracted.

Rest now Graham in the knowledge that your memory and spirit lives on through those who love you in this world

I was always proud to call you 'My Brother Graham'.
We had a special childhood bond.
A bond that couldn't be broken by time or by distance.
That bond still lives on.
Love you, thank you for being....'My Brother Graham'

Graham tribute

I first met Graham in 1976 when, in our early 20s, we were both posted to HM Immigration Office, Adelaide House at London Bridge. We soon bonded as kindred spirits and, although our career paths subsequently diverged, kept in regular contact becoming lifelong friends. We met up on many occasions, both at home and abroad, and I will always cherish the memories of our shared meetings and exploits.

I always admired Graham for his positive outlook on life which he lived to the full. He was very sociable with a wide circle of friends and was great company with a shared sense of humour. Graham was my valued friend and confidant for nearly half a century, well loved by many and will be sadly missed.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Graham.
Graham was truly one of a kind—a person whose politeness and kindness was evident in everything he did— , lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing or meeting him, also far beyond British borders.
I had the privilege to travel together with Graham to many countries in the world, a through gentleman who was appreciated across cultures and many religions.
One of the things Graham spoke about with love and admiration—and with the greatest pride—was his family, especially Maja. He found such joy in sharing her achievements with us, and it was obvious that Maja were his greatest source of pride and happiness.
In this difficult time, we are with you memorising how much Graham was cherished by all who had the pleasure of meeting him or working with him.
Dearest Graham we keep you in our memories and hold you close in our thoughts and prayers.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Dagmara and Rick

I am terribly shocked & sad to hear the awful news about Graham’s passing. Graham was a clever, kind & devoted man who always enjoyed discussing various subjects over a pint of real ale. I will always miss Graham dropping off Maja for squash coaching, coming back to enjoy watching the last few minutes & then all of us relaxing with drinks & a chat afterwards. Rest in peace Graham, you will always be missed. Paul

So sad to hear the news of Graham's untimely passing.... Had known Graham since 1999 when we worked together in London, but we kept in touch when I moved north a few years later. He was always so proud of Maja and loved to update me about her squash prowess! Ewa, you have lost a dear husband, and Maja, a precious Dad, but his kindness and humility will never be forgotten. Xxx
