RaymondLEGGETTRaymond Patrick Leggett, 73 years of age from Cardiff passed away suddenly on 19/08/2024 surrounded by his loved ones.
As a retired gas service engineer he loved to cycle, he was incredibly fit and completed the Welsh Velathon from 2016 to 2018. More recently, he rekindled his love of the mod scene, he purchased a vintage Lambretta and joined a local scooter club. He loved Motown music and dancing, he was always the first on the dancefloor and he recently took up the saxophone.
Raymond was the original mod, the sharped dressed man who was loved by many.
His funeral will be held on 23/09/2024 at Thornhill Crematorium at 2.30pm for those wishing to pay their respects.

Ray I'm going to miss our talks about music for hours and hours, the laughs we had and the numerous chats about many different theories and subjects but most of all I'm going to miss you. Love from Anthony

I'm going to miss you more than words can say. I wish we had more time, time to talk, to dance, to adventure, to make memories. Sleep tight dad, love you Sophie xxx

Ray rode up to the Fino Lounge on his immaculate scooter, dressed immaculately and introduced himself by saying "you must know me,I'm a dancer,I'm first on the floor in the Earl Haig club." He became one of the 'boys' instantly and was an integral member of the Old-s-cool scooter club very rarely missing any of our weekly rideouts
That signalled a friendship which lasted until his passing. His passions were fashion, music, dancing, his scooter and of course Gwynneth (who he mentioned at every opportunity). He is already sorely missed and will be in our thoughts every time we meet at the Fino and on every rideout. RiP Ray.
