Loved your infectious sense of humour. Yeah I know you are Scottish blah blah. 😉 So sad I didn't get the chance to say goodbye 💔. Would have meant the world to us both. 😢 xxxx

Mr Lennox was a great teacher and it’s sad to hear of his passing.
I remember even after we left St. Peters we would go back in to say hello.
And he would randomly pop up on Facebook all those years later with comments of support.
A good man who will be missed

Was really sad to hear about old Polo Head passing. Have some very fond memories of Mr Lennox. He used to have that amazing sports car that we all envied as kids! I remember being on the first residential trip that the school ever went on and he was brilliant there. We had a fancy dress day at the school and he came in his kilt, and we just thought he was some amazing human. His messy left handed writing, his innovative ways of teaching us (I still remember concave and convex!!). Just a really good guy, whose lessons I fondly remember.

Hearing this news today stopped me in my tracks. I have great memories of Alan including being introduced to the world of computing and video games at after school computing club on the RM Nimbus through to being given the opportunity to sit a SATs test after school so I could attend a hospital appointment. Fantastic teacher and a great credit to St. Peter's C of E. Thank you for encouraging me to be the best that I could be.

Saddened to hear of Alan's passing. A great teacher who held a place in many former pupil's hearts and they in his.
Rest in Peace.
