John HywelLEWISPeacefully on Wednesday, Nov 12, with his family at his bedside, at Llandough Hospital, John, aged 66, sadly passed away after a rare, undiagnosed illness, with which he dealt with great dignity, formerly from Williamstown in the Rhondda; loving husband of Jayne, proud and devoted father of Tomos and Huw, fond brother and brother-in-law, and kind uncle to his nephews and nieces. An intelligent, gentle and giving man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Now resting at the private chapel of Gareth Evans, Williamstown, until the public funeral on Friday, Nov 28, at Bethel Chapel, Plassey St, Penarth at 12 noon, followed by cremation at the Cardiff & Glamorgan Memorial Park Crematorium, Port Rd, Barry at 1.30 pm. Family flowers only, donations in memory may be given, if so desired, to Ward West 6, Llandough Hospital, kindly received by Mr Edryd Lloyd, Bethel Chapel, Plassey St, Penarth.
