Alma EileenLEWIS(Nee Hinton)14th May 2004.After a long and eventful life, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Victoria, Canada.Born 1919 in Coleford, Forest of Dean. Alma spent some time in Sri Lanka but much of her life in Gloucester, before moving to Victoria, Canada in 1993 to be close to her Son's family.Alma will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family in Canada: Son Frank Barr and Daughter in Law, Rene.Grandchildren Egan, Keelie and Erik.Predeceased by her husband Leslie Barr and Archie Lewis, her daughter Gillian Rudd of Washington DC and stepson Peter Lewis.She leaves behind in England, Peter's family in Gloucester, her Stepdaughters Shelia Compton of Tiverton and Gill Hunkin of Bedford and their Families.Alma's Brothers Bill, Stan and Jack. Sister Molly Ritchie and their Families. Also family of her deceased Brother Bert and Sisters May Davies and Doris Alcock.Donations may be made in Alma's memory to your local Cancer Research Society.
