ReneeLEWISof Blackburn and formerly of Accrington, passed peacefully at her home on Monday, November 25, aged 78. She was the devoted and loving partner of Dave, much-loved mum of Derek and his partner Chaye'lee, and cherished grandma of Liam, Jessica and Emma. Renee adored the sunshine, always looking forward to getting away on holiday and over her lifetime she visited many countries all over the world. She also loved to get away to her static caravan with her partner Dave and their beloved dogs Peggy-Sue and Angel. She was the most amazingly talented poet and loved nothing more than putting pen to paper to create her latest set of magical words. Renee had a sweet tooth and especially loved chocolate. She loved to relax at her home and complete the latest crossword or wordsearch puzzle. Renee had a wicked sense of humour and always enjoyed sharing one of her dirty jokes, which would often make her family turn red with embarrassment. Renee was a doting mum and grandma who will be sadly missed. Donations may be made in memory to a charity of your own choice. The funeral will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, December 13 at 12.20pm. Funeral director: Champ Funeral Services, Clayton-le-Moors.
